Akaliya joined Streathers in July 2024 as a solicitor in the Property department, having qualified as a solicitor in 2023. She advises on a broad range of residential property matters and acts for individuals and lenders on residential conveyancing transactions.
Prior to joining Streathers, Akaliya graduated from the University of Leicester with an LLB in Law before completing the Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law, where she achieved a Distinction.
Akaliya has experience dealing with a wide range of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
