Lisa Bolgar Smith

Lisa joined Streathers as a Consultant in 2019, having previously been Senior and Managing Partner of Ambrose Appelbe in Lincoln’s Inn. Following this she became a Partner of BDB Pitmans based in Westminster from 2014 before becoming a Consultant.

Lisa has extensive experience as a family solicitor and is a specialist in both national and international family cases involving divorce, children and child abduction. She also specialises in pre and post nuptial agreements; advising clients on complex financial matters.

Lisa is a trained family mediator and collaborative Resolution solicitor who is committed to adopting the non-confrontational approach to divorce by encouraging couples to seek shared solutions. In addition to this, Lisa has trained in psychodynamic couple counselling at the Tavistock and as a counsellor for Childline.
